Our Sales/Shipping Policies

Payment Methods:
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Bank certified Cash payments as noted below.

Visa / MasterCard…

  • If the Card Holder's Name and Address entered on the Order Form does not match the Card Holder's Name and Address on record with the Card Issuer, your order will be canceled.
  • We do not accept non U.S. issued credit cards.
  • To place an order with Visa or MasterCard, please use our secure online shopping cart to place an order 24 hours a day. While we recommend that orders be placed online, we understand that some people are unable to use this option for various reasons. We will be happy to accept your order via phone. Call and place the order verbally.
  • When you place an order via the telephone or internet, you will NOT receive an imprint of the credit card transaction.  By placing the order via the internet or telephone, you agree to give us permission to deduct the funds for the order including shipping from your credit card account. If you do not agree to the fact that you will not receive an imprint, please do not order.

Pricing:

  • We try to maintain current pricing on the web.  With the volume of products we maintain, it is sometimes hard to keep up with all of the manufacturers price changes.  If we go to process your order, and find that the manufacturer has increased the pricing, we will try to maintain the pricing that is listed on the web.  This is not always possible.  Is this case, you will be notified of the pricing change and will be given the opportunity to order at the new price.  If we find that pricing is lower than posted, you will automatically receive the lower pricing.

Cash Payments:

  •  WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.  They will be returned to you.
  • NOTE: With Certified checks and money orders, non certified bank checks, and credit union checks, your check will have to "clear" the bank before your order can be shipped.

PayPal:

  • At this point in time we do not accept PayPal as a form of payment.

International Orders:    

  • At this point in time we do not engage in International business trade.

Shipping:    

  • We only ship to the Billing Address of the Credit Card Holder. See below for shipping to different address
  • Your shipping, insurance and handling cost will be determined at the time the items are shipped. Weight and number of boxes is used to determine ship cost.
  • If you wish to be contacted with the estimated shipping cost, please select YES in the Shipping Cost Notification section on the Order Form. You will be notified via e-mail of the cost of shipping to your location.  The order will not be processed until we receive confirmation back that you approve of the shipping cost.  Order processing will be delayed until we have your approval to process the order. 
  • There will be a shipping material/handling fee added to each order.
  • An Adult signature will be required for the goods received at the time of delivery by the appropriate courier.
  • Most orders will be shipped the same day as received on "in stock" items. If items are not in stock, see Backorders below.  
  • If you refuse delivery after an order has been placed and sent, you will pay shipping charges both ways, handling fees and a restocking fee of 15%.

Ship to Different Address:

  • If you want your order shipped to an address other than that of the credit card holder, you MUST call your credit card issuer and have them make a note of the temporary 'ship to' address in your records. 
  • Fill in the Special Instructions section of the order form with the secondary 'ship to' address on file with the credit card company.  If we process an order that has a secondary 'ship to' address which is not on file with the card issuer, the order will be canceled.

Back Orders:

  • Most of the items listed on our web site are in stock. If you order an item that is not in stock and you wish to keep it on order, select YES in the Back Order Notification section of the order form. The item will be shipped when we get the item back in stock. 
  • If you decide that you would like the item Back Ordered, your credit card will be charged at the time we place the order with the respective manufacturer.  
  • If you do not wish to have an out of stock item placed on back-order, select NO (this is the default) on the Back Order Notification section of the Order Form. If an item is not in stock among other items on the Order, you will be sent an email as to what item is not in stock and the expected wait time to see if you wish for the item to remain on order.
  • If it is a single item order and select "No Backorder Accepted", your order will be Canceled and you will be notified via return email that the order has been canceled so that you may try to locate the item elsewhere.
  • Once an order has been canceled by us and you wish to order the "Not In Stock" item, you will have to place a new order and select "YES" for Back Order Accepted.

Returns:

  • Unconditional Warranty
    Within 7 days of receipt of your order, you may return any of Iron Age Home Furnishings products.  They must be returned in the original undamaged condition for a refund which will consist of the purchase price less shipping costs, handling fees and a 15% restocking charge. You can also cancel unshipped items (standard designs only) for a refund of the purchase price less a 10% stocking charge.

  • Damaged or Defective Items
    If any item is received in damaged or defective condition, the customer must notify the shipping company according to the policies of that company and notify Iron Age Home Furnishings within 24 hours of receipt.

  • Returns Are Easy
    Simply call us for a return authorization number, indicate the reason for your return, repackage the item(s) in the original packaging including the packing slip, pre-pay all shipping costs to return the item(s).  (The item(s) returned must be in their original undamaged condition.  We recommend that you use Insured UPS or Insured Parcel Post), and send the package to:



  • Refunds
    Once we have received and processed the returned item(s), we will notify you via e-mail or first class postal mail of your refund.

Sales Tax:

  • We are not obligated to collect sales tax on orders shipped out of the State of California, as we have no facilities in other states. For sales within California, a 7.25% sales tax + the appropriate district sales tax will be applied to California orders.
